I want to note that a priori, there need not be such an evidence, since this knowledge was transmitted orally. The hidden message of the Biblical account (in Hebrew) could be understood by those who were instructed. Therefore, there would be no intrinsic need to put evidence in the text itself. Nevertheless, there are some cases and I will mention them here. They can only be found if one understands the meaning and value of the letters.
So, there is Noah. His name is written with 2 letters, Nuwn-Cheyt.
Nuwn means seed, or a living creature; Cheyt means fence, representing undifferentiated energy, sometimes related to death, infinity and potentials (note that chay, i.e. Cheyt-Yuwd, means life, and the last letter Tav of Cheyt, closes off this life).
Now we can see why Noah is selected, he is going to be the seed of humanity after the deluge, closed off from the flood by the ark. The values of these letters are 50 for Nuwn and 8 for Cheyt. From Gen 7:7 we can deduce that there were 8 souls on board of the Ark, since Noah had three sons (Gen 6:10). So, these eight (Cheyt = 8) people (Nuwn) found grace.
Grace is this chen (Cheyt-Nuwn, 8.50), which is said of Noah in Gen 6:8. Note that "grace" is the potential to survive and become the undifferentiated potential (Cheyt) for all life afterwards (Nuwn). It reminds me of the saying: This is the first day of the rest of your life. Hence, Noah and his family are the first people of the rest of humanity coming after him (according to the story). Also note that the ark fences in ALL living creatures, male and female. And when the deluge subsides, the earth is populated again (by grace)--it is like a second creation. Indeed, this story tells of our transformation, going through (spiritual) death into life, without the loss of our human nature, which includes our "origin", our animal nature.
There is also Isaac, which in Hebrew is written as Yuwd-Tzadiy-Cheyt-Quph 10.90.8.100. Now, this name is a prime example of the combination of letters to represent an equation of numbers. As Gen 17 declares, Abram was 99 when he was reminded of the promise of a son and Sarai was 89. That is to say, that they were 100 and 90 respectively at the time of Isaac's birth. What do we see? Isaac contains the letters with the same values as the ages of his parents.
Coincidence? Well, it's more likely that we are witnessing here the representation of the next step in the human formation. If Abraham represents our matured inner male nature, and Sarah represents our matured outer female nature (a theme which is repeated often in the Biblical account), then this equation says that both natures need to be matured before Isaac can be born as the merger of the two. The laughter (Gen 17:17, tzachaq = to laugh) comes from the double observation that Isaac's name is constructed from the ages of his parents and also that the female formative (Tzadiy, 90) is placed inside and the cosmic consciousness of the male nature (Quph, 100) is placed at the outside (at the end) of his name. It is such a play with the symbols that it is indeed funny. The depth of the laughter comes from the realization that we are looking at a transmission of knowledge about these letters through a story consisting of these letters! This is pure qabalah.
Notice that Isaac is the process which produces the Quph (the value 100), as it is the last letter of his name. As the account continues, it turns out that Isaac will have two sons, Esau (first) an Jacob (second), where Jacob is written as Yuwd-Ayin-Quph-Beyt. And we see that this Quph is so important that Jacob earns Esau's right of the firstborn and receives his father's blessings (Gen 27:36, note the value 2 relating to the Beyt of the name of Jacob) and is later transformed into Israel (Yuwd-Shiyn-Reysh-Aleph-Lammed), the merger (Reysh) of Man (ish, (Aleph)-Yuwd-Shiyn ) and God (El, Aleph-Lammed) as a result of a struggle during the night (Gen 32:26-28).
Man is formed in darkness, so that he will emerge in light.
The formation takes place by taking in the letters as darkness representing light.
The light will be emitted after a transformation, from their activation within.
